Winnie "launches acting career"

Winnie Madikizela Mandela has been touted to star in the new Mvela Films release “Sex Wale”.

The one-time President of the Women’s League has been in search of a nip/tuck to boost her sagging public profile for some time.

‘I think this is the perfect vehicle – in fact you could call it the BMW 7 series of movies – to start my budding film career,’ enthuses Madikizela Mandela.

Described as a raunchy romp through Tokyo’s dark underbelly, “Sex Wale” is to be the follow up to last year’s proudly South African remake of “Free Willy”, the blockbuster which saw unprecedented sales of baby oil and shower gel soon after hitting the circuit.

Madikizela Mandela hopes the production will be the first of many. “Currently I am in talks with Zwelinzima Vavi who will be directing ‘All the President’s Women’ in 2008.”

She adds that her other commitments include the launch of a football club to coincide with the 2010 World Cup where she will be utilising her not inconsiderable experience in that sphere.

Mvela Films will be launching several other feature films in the next few months, including:
Black diamonds are forever
• Feinstein’s List
• BEE Movie
• The Empowerment of One
• Cents and sensitivity

Well, seeing that she came out on top of the NEC with the most votes, it doesn’t seem to be a sagging career. Maybe just sagging body part. Winnie never really cared what the population thinks, only what her friends that votes here in thinks. Like it not, she’s a survivor.
